Beavers

Welcome to Saxilby Beavers

Here at Saxilby we have two Beaver Colonies,

Hawkeye Beavers meet on a Tuesday evening 6 – 7.15 pm
Ringtail Beavers meet on a Thursday evening 6 – 7.15pm.

Boys and girls are accepted in both colonies from 5 years 9 months to 7 years 9 months when they can transfer to Cubs.

Activities and Programme

Although there are two colonies we share the same weekly programme, regularly work together on projects and attend outings, camps and sleepovers together.

At our meetings we work towards badges, play games, do crafts, lots of singing, try new things and most importantly – have lots of fun!

Outside our weekly meetings we attend District events, such as marching through Lincoln Castle and Cathedral during the St George’s Day parade, attend camps and sleepovers (in 2015 we slept under the large shark tanks at The Deep in Hull!) and hold our own outings and hikes.  Our crowning achievement of 2015 was to hold a fundraising event for the community defibrillator in Saxilby for which we raised a mammoth £600!!
